Red is the color of fire and passion, and base color in microblading color theory. This SUPE Red pigment is the richest of all three. On it own, it’s really hard to use, unless you have a client in love with rouge. But you can use it to create other colors. Colors that have a reddish shine, like a maroon that glows red in the sunshine, or a scarlet that works wonders on natural redheads. Plus, the formula of this pigment means it can last much much longer than others. Here’s what it’s all about:

Use this pigment to get lighter tones from clients with natural copper and red hair. As a base, it can be mixed with Yellow. This creates an orange pigment that is perfect if you’re working on masking over old grey microblading. It can be mixed in with Browns to create a dark maroon with a reddish gloss. Plus, it can be used with Black to create Purple, if your client really wants to go all out on their brows.

The red base pigment is created using the SUPE formula. The formula includes both synthetic and organic materials, like red iron oxide, which allows it to have a very thick and solid texture. This means it doesn’t smudge and you need just a few drops of pigment to develop a color. The formula is a secret of PhiBrows, who’s Branko Babic created the formula to use as a mask to prevent greying with clients who have very thick and oily skin, clients with a lot of sebum, or when artists are unsure how deep the strokes are.

The SUPE formula is also completely safe to use and has passed all international tests. This includes the rigorous “total opening” tests in France and Switzerland used to test tattoo and PMU pigments. It means that this pigment doesn’t contain heavy metals and is approved in all European countries, USA, Canada, Australia and the rest of the world.
